New Kids on the Block

There are some new kids on the block.

 

 

They just moved in after nine weeks under the artificial warmth of the brooding lights and they are eager to get outside.

 

 

They are enjoying the benefits being  outdoors.

 

Like fresh strawberries and all the bugs they can eat.

 

 Exploring their new surroundings has become a full time job. 

 

 

They are turning the heads of some of the older residents. 

 

There seems to be a family resemblance. 

Are you my mother?

   

 The new kids on the block grow up fast -  come Fall they will start earning their keep.
