Marie Danse des Fluer Event Countdown

This is the tale of three sweet friends who met by chance in Savannah, GA. These three woman came from totally different backgrounds; three different states; three different stages of life. These three ladies just happened to be lucky enough to share a hotel room that was cramped but cozy. These three ladies immediately fell in LOVE with each other and became instant friends. They roomed together, ate together and crafted together. They laughed together, prayed together and cried together when the time came to say goodbye. Luckily, another lovely lady would bring them back together for another crafting event. Can you guess who all these ladies are?

One of them  is ME! The other two are Julie Grakowsky and Sherry Williams. All three of us will be attending the

 Maries Dans de Fluer Event

 in Tampa, Florida at the beautiful Saddlebrook Resort and hosted by Cassandra VanCuren. The event is quickly approaching but there is still time to sign up.  I can’t wait to attend this Marie Antoinette inspired event. There will be a Grand Ball, swaps, classes and even an opportunity to attend a flea market on Monday.

The festivities begin with make and takes with  Kimberly Ryan and Bryanna Lenan.

The Grand Ball is scheduled for Saturday night complete with costumes and sweet treats for all that attend. There will even be a Marie inspired market where you will be able to purchase creations made by some very talented ladies.  I can’t wait to do some shopping!

No sleeping in on Sunday; classes begin bright and early with a Marie Hot Air Balloon by Jennifer Hayslip; Altered Cigar Box Patisserie by Heidi Wallingford and a necklace fit for a queen  taught by Cassandra herself.  The festivities continue with dinner, French Cuisine is on the menu.

Some of us will be staying for the flea market on Monday which is not included in the price but hey, since your there – Just saying!

So grab some of your favorite girlie friends and come on over and join us. I am grabbing mine for a fun filled weekend.
