Every once and awhile I come across a fellow blogger who really inspires me. In this case it is Sande Chase of Ontario, Canada. Her wonderful blog , A Gift Wrapped Life, is full of exquisite photos on “How to Gift” I only recently discovered her but am now addicted. She has incredible taste and selects the most Yummy photos to use on her blog. Yesterday morning she wrote a post on re-gifting petite Laduree Macaroon boxes from the famous shop in Paris. How does this tie into cake toppers you ask? Well just last week I saw a beautiful photo online of a Laduree Wedding Cake Topper that I saved knowing soon I would use it in a post. If you are not familiar with Laduree in Paris your in for a treat.
Okay friends, the word is officially out. Any of you who are planning to be in Paris and just happen to be strolling down 75,avenue Elysees, des Champs or any of their other fabulous locations, you are to RUN, not walk inside and purchase me a petite macaroon box. Have them wrap it in satiny ribbon and pink wrapping paper, and please don’t forget the tag and seal. One day I will dine at their restaurant myself, but until then I must live vicariously through all of you. Have a wonderful Thursday my friends and enjoy the “pretty little things” you happen upon today.

Hi Amada,
Thank you for the lovely surprise and mention! I was more nervous re-gifting the Laduree box than Hermes (but it didn't stop me from punching a hole right through their logo!)but still experimenting with other ideas as we speak. Laduree is such a heavenly experience for any female, they know how to push all our retail buttons. And the mararons are so delicious. I'll see if I can get you a box in September. Many thanks again.

The macaroons at Laduree are awesome - the whole shop is enchanting. (and it's not just females who appreciate dessert delights LOL)
I see somebody else is going to be in Paris in September - we'll be there be there then - from the 3 - 10!

I prefer the chocolate cake because you can eat it with coffee or milk and the flavor is better than the other one. the ingredients are simple so the preparation is really fast.
