I have to say I have been privileged to meet so many new and interesting people through my adventures with Over the Top. Everyone has been so incredibly kind, nurturing and ready to help me grow my tiny business. Recently, I met with Jennifer Shea owner of Trophy Cupcakes in Ballard, Washington. Jennifer is a very talented business women as well as baker. Her cupcakes have been featured in so many publications it would be difficult for me to post.
Her recent claim to fame is her appearance on Martha Stewart during cupcake week. YES!, Jennifer made cupcakes with Martha. I am green with envy. You can watch the video on the Trophy site, I have linked to her website just click on Press and then The Martha Stewart Show to watch .
More and more couples are opting to go with cupcakes instead of cake and Jennifer mentioned the lack of “tasteful” toppers out there. After a brief but very informative meeting Jennifer also mentioned how wonderful it would be to have a special topper that a cupcake could be slid on top of. I was so excited to come up with something for her and her customers. I will give you a sneak peek of what I have created. These will be available through Trophy Cupcakes or on my ETSY account within the next two weeks, after my daughter graduates and all the in-laws have gone home ;) I will take orders on my ETSY account now but shipping will be two weeks out.
This one is called “Shower me with Kisses”
This is a take on my very popular “My Love” wedding cake topper, this one is for cupcakes.
By the way, these toppers will be available in pure white, light blue, light green etc. I also added a couple of new toppers to my ETSY account, so check it out. Just click on the ETSY icon on the left side of this post to go directly to my store.
Note: The very beautiful butterfly laser cut cupcake wrapper is from Fancy Flours. They sell all kinds and I will offer this one or a heart variation with every topper.
That is it for today, now go out and seek out some “Pretty Little Things”, life’s too short to settle for just Okay!

Agree with the above poster. I can't wait until Brooke gets married - these are so pretty and unique - especially the cupcake idea. Great work, as usual.
