Seven Deadly Sins

It’s our turn to host Supper Club this weekend so 4 other “foodie” couples will be joining Tim and me for a little devilish fun. Our theme for the dinner is “The 7 Deadly Sins.” Last season Top Chef on BRAVO TV had a similar challenge for their seven chefs, create one course of a meal based on one of the original deadly sins. In case your not up on them they are:

Anger, gluttony, pride, greed, sloth, lust and envy. Though there are many interpretations.

Each couple has been given a course and a “sin” their creation must somehow interpret that sin whether it be in taste, presentation, ingredients etc.  They will be judged on presentation, taste and of course sin interpretation and originality.

I can’t wait to see what my chef’s come up with. This is a really creative and talented group and I so look forward to our evenings together. I have a fun centerpiece in mind, service will be on white and black plates with a splash of red and lusty music for the background. It all started with a great invitation I sent out a couple of weeks ago.  I can’t wait to post pictures on Monday.
