So all of you know how much I love anything associated with Marie Antoinette, right? So why have I not made a wedding topper reflecting that passion? The answer is because I had not found the perfect image to inspire me. The other day while visiting my favorite blogs I ran across the perfect image – or should I say silhouette. Cerri at Little Pink Studio had the perfect image available in her fun online shop. A beautifully, intricate die cut of Marie and a beau. Well maybe it’s not Marie but that’s the feel it gave me. Immediately I started planning the topper around it. Thank you Cerri for the inspiration.
This laser cut is so delicate. I had quite a time getting it just right then glued down. Who knows if I will make another one. Who am I kidding, of course I will.
From Behind, a lovely fan edged in glitter “Wedding March”
This was fun to make. Every once in a while I do something different to keep the old brain cells young. “Marie” will be available in my ETSY shop soon. I think this would make the perfect gift for that Francophile in your life. Enjoy the weekend my friends and don’t forget to seek out the “pretty little things” in life.

Hi Amada,
These toppers are incredible! So incredible I can understand you wanting to grap them even more beautifully as a presentation. Only since you asked, how about boxing them, even as protection.
They appear quite fragile, maybe a white or clear corsage box which can be cost efficient if they are smaller than I am picturing. I just thinking they must be small if you can use cello and then ship.I am not sure how large these are so trying to understand how it protects them? Sen me a few photos if you can showing size and I'll see how I can help. If not a box possibly a beautiful tissue wrap (even over the cello) and then using some of the actual elements that have been used in the creation. A piece of the glitter, etc. i think a cascade of the materials you use such a glitter, paper, ribbon would be lovely to attach the name of the creation on it's presentation. i'm not sure I am being clear tonight, we had to put our dog to sleep this morning so forgive me if I am rambling. feel free to sends some pics and I can think some more. They are beautiful! I'll be happy to do a post as soon as I am up to regular schedule.

Amada - I love the silhouette images - they are so elegant. Cricut is coming out with a cartridge that is all silhouettes. Maybe we should check it out.
