Okay this is going to be a quick post and a little bit odd. I know I am dating myself but I am in desperate need of the 1965 version of Milton Bradley’s Mystery Date. If you are over 35, or like me over 45 and female, you played this game with your little girlfriends while you giggled uncontrollably up in your bedroom.
Tim and I are going to a Halloween Party on the 10th and the theme is “come as your favorite board game character” My favorite board game of all time is Mystery Date. I have this great idea for a costume but I need the pictures of all the guys behind the door.
I have seen them on EBAY for between $50 - $95 which blows me away (I should of kept my copy). I really don’t want to buy it, I just need good photos of all the guys behind the door. You know, the bum, ski hunk, beach babe, Mr. Perfect etc. etc.
So here is my plea. If you own this game or know someone who does, I would be oh so grateful if you could send me good photos of these hunks, and the front door. I would be so grateful, in fact I would be willing to send this wonderful individual a special little something :) So lets send out the word and get me those photos!
Just comment on this blog post that you have them and I will send you my email and we can get this thing going.
P.S. If you have any other ideas on how to get those photos let me know that as well. I’m counting on you guys.
My second choice involves hundreds of Viewmaster discs and isn’t very conducive for sitting so I am really banking on the Mystery Date thing.
Amada
I"m afraid I can't help you ... but I wish you the best of luck on your quest!
...and be sure to post pics of your costume!

Oh man was that a blast from the past. I totally remember this game. I will email my brothers b/c we all split up the board games when my parents downsized. Sounds funny that he might have it, but mine were just sent to me randomly.
What a great idea for a costume!

No luck. Like I said, Go to the Head of the Class, Tripoly, NO Dating Game. Can't believe they are going for so much on EBay. Eeks.
