I’ve been working on a crown swap hosted by Kim in my Marie Antoinette Mailart Group. The theme is Marie, Queen of May, but I have been obsessed with ships instead….
Little glittered ships
Sailing on top of tiny spring flowers…
and blonde tufts of hair
The Queen of May
Strolls silently through the garden.
My partner is Roxie and I will be “shipping” her this May Crown today – enjoy!
I saw three ships………
Amada
Great idea... maybe even good for a hairpiece for the Marie event!

Amada...Your work and talent is spectacular!
You are also a very beautiful lady with a gorgeous smile...I'm sorry we missed each other in April...
LIFE happens...
I would love to meet you soon.
Maybe you could visit, teach, come and stay in Escondido with me at " The Urban Barn"...?
Your Marie boxes would be a big hit there...Do you sell to stores?
All my best wishes today and every creative day...
XO Mary

Amanda,
I hated to read about your bus adventure to Savannah. But I'm so glad you made it on time for all of the events. I wish we had met before the event. My sister & I live in Atlanta and drove down to Savannah probably just as you were catching the bus. If you are ever in ATL again and need a ride, we will be happy to help. It was so nice meeting you. I wish we had more time, but hopefully we will see you again at another event. Your work is beautiful and we were so tickled to see you as Miss May!

LOVE your crown!!!!!! I went to Kim's site to visit & see her too. I really enjoyed getting to meet you at Petticoats & Parasols. You are an amazing artist. I love the fabric you chose for your parasol (I still need to make that post for the day of the Art Event... where does time go?) & your little mani. Also, your vendor table was beautiful. Hope we keep in touch. Charlene
