This weekend Common Folk Co in Bellevue is having a fall open house and when Common Folk celebrates anything you just have to stop by for the eye candy and great giveaways.
Kathryn spares no expense when transforming her shop to a Halloween haven.
The store is filled with upscale Halloween decorations. Things you will not find at the local department store.
Kathryn and Eric have an amazing attention to detail. They spray painted live flowers grey and black for a cool effect.
Hot pink is usually not a color we associate with Halloween or even fall but it works perfectly here.
Common Folk Co. is filled with items in every price range to decorate your home for the holiday. Little Doo-Dads -
To great big “Over the Top” pieces
These little original pieces are by Ilona Steelhammer and are adorable. They are all handmade and one-of-a-kind. Ilona has donated two pieces for a drawing to be held this weekend.
I just love these lace up rain boots and ruffled umbrella. The perfect pair for a wet Seattle winter.
All these beautiful charms can be combined to make …..
Your own fall charm bracelet inspired by luscious muted toned.
New to the store are these Common Folk Co. signature candle made by Seda exclusively for the shop. They are heavenly. I bought one on my way out for a girlfriend and they wrapped it up beautifully in a clear cello bag with signature ribbon. They put it in a small Common Folk bag with another double satin ribbon. WOW!
My Haunted Marie Masquerade Masks are flying out the door and they sold out of my Marie Shoe which you can fill with candy. They are still available in my ETSY shop Here.
Part of my “Over the Top” Haunted Theater line. Don’t you love the hat?
There is something for everyone at Common Folk – even the little ones.
This display BLEW ME AWAY! Remember when I said that Kathryn and Eric spare no expense; well they brought in an actual coffin for Halloween. This wooden casket is from the mid 1800’s I would say. It is awesome!
Just take a look at the original plaque. Martha eat your heart out!
Skulls and owls are definitely in.
Its no secret that Kathryn and Eric have created a unique store filled with interesting pieces and ideas for the holiday. They are two of my favorite people and they have supported me and several other local artists by carrying our handmade creations. They are currently caring my entire Halloween line which is also available through my ETSY shop for all you out-of-towners.
No amount of pictures could convey the magic of this shop. Your just going to have to stop by yourself and check it out. The shop will be decked out until Halloween and then Christmas! Can you believe that is right around the corner?
Have a wonderful end to the weekend my friends and keep making “Pretty little things”
Amada

I love your Haunted Theatre line hat - it is perfect. When I think of the Halloween parties you used to have, for some reason that line reminds me of your parties. Your house was like a staged theatre set. Great memories. And, yes, CF does an incredible job with merchandising. Need to go visit.
