About a month ago I had a special request to create a cupcake topper for a wonderful couple, Lisa and Doug.
Their colors are chocolate brown and turquoise and their theme is “Birds of a Feather”. How sweet.
When Lisa contacted me she wasn’t thinking of a custom topper. She thought, at first, she just wanted a small pick of a couple with a couple of flowers – but as we spoke she became more and more excited about doing something custom.
She gave me creative license on the design with a couple of ideas. She definitely wanted the banner to read “Birds of a Feather” and she wanted two birds.
I was able to give her that and a little more. I can’t wait for Lisa to send me a picture of this topper crowning her Chocolate Ganache and vanilla butter cream cupcake tower.
I really enjoyed working with Lisa and it is always such a privilege to work with a bride on something as special as her wedding cake topper.
The minute I finished this topper I knew it was a winner. I love it. The colors look fabulous together and it is just as sweet as it could be. So, I made an extra one for my ETSY shop. This design can be easily modified to fit any color palette or wedding theme. See it here.
Congratulations you two, it has been so fun.
Hugs,
Amada
Just beautiful Amada, really... xo

WOW!!!!!!! That is truly amazing. Just thought I would pop over & see a few of the gals from Petticoats & Parasols Event & see what is going on in their worlds. I see magic is still your specialty. Have a great week.
